Aether - Genshin Impact
I drew Aether from Genshin Impact in my free time. He is one of my favorite characters and i really love his colorscheme. So decided to draw him. However I really wanted to do something different this time by practicing with some new lighting techniques. However I think the end result turned out alot better this time.
Process
The first step i do is creating a skeching and after that i do the lineart
After that I add the base colors.
Also i like to color my lineart as well these days, Because it gives my art more depth in my opinion.

Here I tried to do something with the special layer types in Photoshop (Multiply Overlay, etc.) and i love this
Some final touches to make the parts of his armor glow, By using a few airbrushes with some yellows and whites. I also felt like adding another big field of color in the background to really make him pop from the background.
And this is the end result, i tried my best to capture a bit of sadness with the atmosphere and light and also in his expression.
